okay, so this is basically just a place for me to compile all of the cool craft ideas i find online and maybe put some of my own ideas or my attempts at projects. enjoy!

Homemade Soap

i think i want to make soap.

i could easily say that these would make a good gift, but lets be honest, if these turn out well i would want them for myself.

Sweater Boots

these are awesome.

they are made from an old sweater and a pair of cheap flats. with a quick trip to the thrift store, these are a complete possibility. they look so comfy and would be great for fall.

Zipper Bracelet

there are definitely a couple zippers somewhere around my house, so this post might actually become a reality.

i would like to try this idea out, just to see how it would turn out. seems simple enough…

Notebooks

one day i will throw out all of my half used notebooks and make some of these cute little ones.

these would be good to just toss in your purse or give as a small gift.

Adorable Purses

this website has so many good purse tutorials.

http://whipup.net/2008/11/19/sizeable-list-of-tutorials-bags-pouches-purses/

here are some of the ones that i looked through and liked.

this one is knitted using old plastic shopping bags and it makes a great reusable bag.

this one is made out of magazines and is cute and colorful.

and last is a quilted wallet, because i know that i can never have enough wallets.

there were many more great ideas and tutorials on that website, it is something that i definitely want to spend time on.

Comic Book Shoes

these are completely doable in my book. they combine both my love of collaging and shoes.

i want to make these with maybe a pair of old heels, a bit of a refurbishing project. these remind me of a pair of shoes that i saw in a store.. only cheaper, my favorite.

i think that this is simply adorable. i’m going to start looking for a controller right away to make this with. also, along the same lines is this cassette tape coin purse that i found:

it seems really easy if you can find a purse frame.

Ric Rac Roses

im thinking more hair accessories…

instead of a chain, attach one of these bad boys to a bobby pin or barrette. the added bonus is that they seem really simple to make. observe:

An Easy Refashioning

here is an idea that i found on twobutterflies blog that is cheap, easy, and could look better than the original:

this design was inspired by a ModCloth shirt, however, instead of paying $35 dollars for it, you could make it for as little as $1 by using a thrift store found shirt. i’m thinking this design would look cool with a cut collar, a little off the shoulder action. and maybe add some kind of design using either bleach or dye.
