okay, so this is basically just a place for me to compile all of the cool craft ideas i find online and maybe put some of my own ideas or my attempts at projects. enjoy!
these are completely doable in my book. they combine both my love of collaging and shoes.
i want to make these with maybe a pair of old heels, a bit of a refurbishing project. these remind me of a pair of shoes that i saw in a store.. only cheaper, my favorite.

This one is for all you Nintendo Nerds out there! I found out that there is an instructable for a wallet like this, but this one has pressable buttons!

i think that this is simply adorable. i’m going to start looking for a controller right away to make this with. also, along the same lines is this cassette tape coin purse that i found:
it seems really easy if you can find a purse frame.
here is an idea that i found on twobutterflies blog that is cheap, easy, and could look better than the original:
this design was inspired by a ModCloth shirt, however, instead of paying $35 dollars for it, you could make it for as little as $1 by using a thrift store found shirt. i’m thinking this design would look cool with a cut collar, a little off the shoulder action. and maybe add some kind of design using either bleach or dye.
This dress i was a little reluctant towards at first. i saw this picture and thought it was just another so-so homemade dress project. but when i scrolled through the instructions (which, by the way, as hinted to in the title are very simple) i came across pictures of other dresses that she (she being rachael caringella) had made using this “pattern”. pattern put in quotes because if you read the directions, it’s not so much a pattern as a step by step guide. here is the picture that hooked me:
after seeing how well this dress came out i knew i had to make this dress. and the real kicker: only $6! yup, definitely making this.

here is the diy project that made me want to create this tumblr.
i had stumbled upon a lot of craft projects online, and i kept saving them to my favorites, but i figured there had to be an easier way to keep them all organized. then when i came upon this suitcase chair idea i just had to share it with the world because its sheer awesomeness could not be contained. so voilà i created my very own crafty blog!
